This is the day I first heard of or saw Bill Steber's Photography. Bill was photographing the Black Banjo Gathering in Boone NC at Appalachicn State University as he has Blues Musicians for years in the Missippissi Delta.

Doc Watson was honored June 4, 2011 in Boone, NC with the unveiling of an Alex Hallmark sculpture of Doc Watson playing his guitar on a bench in downtown Boone. Doc's friends attending included Wayne Henderson, Jeff Little, David Holt, Herb Key and Charles Welch.
